As we march toward April 1st let's take a look at some silly songs this week.

Anyone who knows me knows I have a slightly twisted sense of humor and novelty songs have always been attractive to my ear.  I spent many a Sunday night listening (and recording) the Dr. Demento show and devouring whatever "fun" songs I could.

Picking just FIVE songs that amuse me would be impossible, but I'll try my best and probably end up revisiting this theme a few times!

Today's entry was not a hit song, which is quite the aberration for this group!

It is clear though that the members were as influenced by the zany shows they watched and heard as children as much as I was as this has all the marking of a bit from The Goon Show.

I'd venture to say you'll not find the original song anywhere on line....at least for free!

Recorded in 1967 it was released on the "Let It Be" album three years later.
