With less than a week until the "big game" (The NFL frowns on the use of the words, uh, well I don't want sued so it starts with "S" and ends with "uperbowl") lets looks at the tried and true tradition of singing about sports.

That is a tradition isn't it?

Anyway....

I think that when we talk great football movies there can only be one that is the consensus pick as the single greatest embodiment of the gridiron.

The 1986 epic that is the Goldie Hawn star vehicle:  "Wildcats".

And what made this movie the quintessential football movie?  Why LL Cool J singing about "Football" with the stars of the film "helping".
