With less than a week until the "big game" (The NFL frowns on the use of the words, uh, well I don't want sued so it starts with "S" and ends with "uperbowl") lets looks at the tried and true tradition of singing about sports.

That is a tradition isn't it?

Anyway....

All the way back in 1989 ABC looked to rev up their Monday Night Football intro and what better way to do that than to have a country singer rework one his more rockabilly songs?

Right?

We were all thinking that weren't we?

The song was used until 2011 when ESPN found out that sometimes people like Hank Williams Jr have ideas and opinions.
