This week, the week of April 4 - 8, 2016, we will be talking about rain songs!
We call it: "All Wet"
April 5, 2016
The first weekend in April started with a real bang here in SW PA. 70 degrees to sleet (with lightning) and then a coating of snow followed by two days of rain!
So let's look at some songs about those April showers!
Today's entry was the first of three top ten singles by the group, reaching #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in December of 1967.
The band from Newport, Rhode Island, comprised of the Cowsill family members continued recording and touring into the early 70's with solo recordings and new groups continuing well into the 2000's.
Trivia: John Cowsill sang back up vocals while with Tommy Tutone and can be heard on "Jenny (867-5309)".
